Emerging Prairie has announced the recipients of its annual awards.
The winners are individuals and organizations judged to have made a significant impact in the business start-up community or by contributing to the area’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The recipients are:
Rookie of the Year Award: Sadiyo Hassan. The award goes to early stage entrepreneurs who make significant progress.
Dr. David Wells Belief Award: Roger Larson. The award goes to those who believe in the potential of entrepreneurs and the difference they can make in our community.
Social Impact Award: F5 Project. The award goes to a person or organization that makes positive impacts on the community for social change.
Team Player Award: Kilbourne Group. The award goes to organizations whose members make meaningful contributions to support start-ups.
Start-up of the Year Award: Aldevron. The award goes to organizations demonstrating significant growth and success beyond our region.
The winners will be celebrated during the 1 Million Thanks even being held 6 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 31, at the Fargo Air Museum. The event features hors d'oeuvres, live music, a surprise performance, the awards ceremony and a signature champagne toast.
