FARGO -- West Acres Shopping Center announced a number of store closures, moves and expansions in a post to its blog Thursday, Jan. 31.

  • Nail Pro to expand into former Payless ShoeSource space. Payless closed its store in the West Acres Shopping Center late last week. It was the last remaining Payless store doing business in the metro area. Nails Pro will undergo a complete remodel and expand into a portion of the former shoe store. An announcement about what will go in the remaining space will come in the next few months, according to the blog post.
  • Apricot Lane to move into former Things Remembered location. Things Remembered, a store known for special-occasion gifts such as personalized jewelry, closed its doors Wednesday, Jan. 30. Apricot Lane, a women's clothing and accessories store, will move into its space. The post said the mall is currently in the process of filling the Apricot Lane space.
  • Ice Point expected to open in late February or early March. Ice Point, a locally-owned eatery serving hibachi ice cream, bubble tea and more, is expected to open in the West Acres Food Court in late February or early March.
  • CRAVE is expected to open early this summer. Work is underway at the CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar, one of the first restaurants announced for The District at West Acres, a 30,000 square-foot cluster of restaurants and "experiences" announced this fall. CRAVE is expected to open there early this summer.
