FARGO - The iCare Electronic Repair shop has been purchased by the owners of the downtown Goin’ Postal store.
Fargoans Matt and Lindsey Lee announced Tuesday, March 12, that they completed the purchase of the shop at 23 8th St. S. from Moorhead native James Van Raden.
“I really like the brand, (and) the customer service they offered in the past,” Matt Lee said Wednesday, March 13. “We both offer really good service, care about our customers and are in downtown Fargo.”
The Goin’ Postal store is just two doors to the north at 19 8th St. S.
The downtown Goin’ Postal has been in business since 2014, specializing in shipping through multiple carriers.
iCare has been open at its current location since 2014. It began as a cell phone and tablet repair shop and quickly evolved to include computers, drones and other electronic devices. The store prides itself on competitive pricing for repairs, and estimates its technicians have repaired more than 35,000 devices.
Rebecca Larson, iCare’s general manager, said the operation of the store will stay the same for the time being.
”We’re very excited to have Matt and Lindsey owning the company,” Larson said. She said they bring “some fresh, innovative ideas.”
Hours for iCare are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
