MOORHEAD - An open house and ribbon cutting for the Block E building will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 12.

The metro Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting opens the event and will be followed by tours of the new four-story, mixed-use building at 801 Main Ave., in the heart of the city’s downtown.

Block E is home to Choice Bank, Usher’s House, Nutrition Hub and Edward Jones on the first floor. Eventide’s corporate headquarters takes up the second floor, and 12 residential units are on the third and fourth floors.

Construction of Block E finished in late 2018. Residential tenants started moving in during October. Commercial tenants started moving in November 2018. EPIC Management manages the building.

“Block E is a wonderful addition to downtown Moorhead’s skyline. It is a beautiful building that will serve as home to businesses and residents for decades to come. Block E is already proving to be a catalyst to further Moorhead downtown development,” Mayor Johnathan Judd said in a news release.
