West Fargo - Drivers on Interstate 94 near here have probably noticed the large building taking shape near Sheyenne Street.
The structure is the new Harley-Davidson of Fargo, a 25,000-square-foot store that will have about 2,000 square feet of space on a second level that will be used for administrative offices, said Jim Entenman, one of the owners of the business.
The store will open to the public April 27, with a grand opening and open house set for May 15-16, Entenman said.
The current Harley-Davidson of Fargo store in West Fargo will close April 18 to give time for a transition.
“We’ve got all new fixtures, we’ve got increased inventory, from motorcycles to motor clothes, parts and accessories. So, we’re going to take a whole week to get in and get moved,” said Entenman, whose family purchased the Harley-Davidson of Fargo business in 2013.
The Entenmans also own J&L Harley-Davidson in Sioux Falls, S.D., which is celebrating 40 years in business, as well as Glacial Lakes Harley-Davidson in Watertown, S.D.
