Flakoll named chairman of MHEC
Tri-College University Provost and former North Dakota Sen. Tim Flakoll, R-Fargo, has assumed the position of commission chairman of the Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC) for 2017-2018. Flakoll previously served as vice chairman and treasurer.
Flakoll served as a commissioner from 2001-2006, as an appointee of the North Dakota Senate. In Dec. 2016, he was appointed a commissioner by North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.
One of four regional higher education compacts in the United States, MHEC is a nonprofit regional organization assisting its 12-member Midwestern states in advancing higher education through interstate cooperation and resource sharing.
Holmstrom named shareholder at Widmer Roel
Certified Public Accountant Tonya Holmstrom has been named shareholder at Widmer Roel, a public accounting and business advisory firm.
Holmstrom has more than 12 years public accounting experience with an emphasis in business, individual and nonprofit income taxation. Holmstrom specializes in business planning and income tax consulting and compliance. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and North Dakota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Domres joins InfraGard ND board of directors
