FARGO - Students from North Dakota State University recently made it to the semifinals of a national marketing competition.
National Agri-Marketing Association said a seven-student NDSU team participated in a competition it hosted April 11-12 in Kansas City, Mo. The students marketed a health supplement for preventative care made with flaxseed hulls that was said to have potential benefits of boosting the immune system.
The presentation team included students Nick Broberg, Morgan Ege, Tatiana Hasbargen, Tressa Johnson, Dylan Kallman, Katelyn Kokett, Clara Konetschka, Thomas Konetschka and Jerrod McDonald, as well as advisers Tom Wahl, David Englund and Emily Schubert.
This year's marketing competition drew 29 student chapters. About 400 student members attended NAMA's annual conference and trade show that took place at the same time.
