Stoneridge Software is relocating its corporate office to the newly renovated historic T. Gunness building at 118 Front St S, Barnesville, Minn. A grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony and open house will be held from 4 - 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 22.
The T. Gunness building was built in 1899 and has been home to many different businesses over the years including hardware store(s), a Ben Franklin and its most recent use as bar and restaurant. The building had been vacant in recent years. Stoneridge Software worked in conjunction with a local developer to renovate the space to its original storefront appearance. The project was also contributed to by the Barnesville Economic Development Authority, and the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).
