Gateway Building Systems Introduces New Leadership Team

Gateway Building Systems is pleased to announce that its board of directors has appointed Scott McKernan as Chief Executive Officer and Mike Peyerl as General Manager of the Building Division.

Scott brings an extensive background in leadership and continuous improvement tools and strategies that he will integrate into the Gateway organization. For the past ten years, he held a number of leadership positions at AGCO (GSI), most recently Director of Global Business Development and M&A. Scott completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

After spending the last 10 years on the manufacturing side of business, with many of the grain industrys leading companies, Scott is looking forward to working with Kevin and the Johnson family (Owners of Gateway Building Systems) to help take Gateway to the next level. He will focus on building the best team that delivers unbeatable customer service to existing and potential customers in the agriculture and commercial building industries.

Scott looks forward to this new professional venture with his wife and children.

Mike joins Gateway Building Systems, bringing over a decade of sales, operations and leadership experience with him in both the agriculture and construction industries. He will play an instrumental part in the companys leadership team.

With a true desire to be a great leader, Mike has seen great success in team building and management. His skills in customer service, sales and teamwork will help foster growth in the Building Division at Gateway Building Systems.

Mike most recently managed a John Deere Dealership in Hillsboro. He now looks forward to working in the community he lives in so he can spend more time with his wife and daughter.
