IMA Healthcare now offers dermatology and skin care to children and adults. Michael J. Blankinship, M.D., Ph.D. has joined the practice to launch a Dermatology and Skin Care clinic.
Dr. Blankinship is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, aesthetic and surgical treatment of skin conditions and diseases, including acne, eczema, infections, allergies, skin growths, psoriasis, skin cancers, pigmentation disorders, hair loss, and more.
He earned his medical doctorate in 2009 and a philosophical doctorate in human genetics in 2005 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also completed his dermatology residency at The University of Michigan in 2013.
For the past seven years, he has practiced dermatology at Essentia Health in Fargo where he spent the last six years as the director of their Skin Renewal Clinic. Dr. Blankinship lives in Fargo with his wife, Sunny, and their three children. He and his family enjoy traveling and spending time at their lake cabin. He is originally from the Upper Pen-insula of Michigan and enjoys hunting and fishing and was a Big Ten bass fishing champion in 1999.
