Pontoppidan Lutheran Church Welcomes New Pastor

Pontoppidan Lutheran Church Welcomes it's 15th Senior Pastor with the Installation of Pastor Nancy Monke this past Sunday, January 6, 2019.

Pastor Nancy Monke received a BA in Music Education and Psychology from Concordia College, MN and her MDiv from Luther Seminary, MN. Pastor Nancy Monke has been a pastor for the past 34 years, serving churches in Wanamingo, MN, Moorhead, MN, Fergus Falls, MN and most recently Underwood, MN. Pastor Nancy Monke has three grown children and two grandchildren.

Pastor Nancy Monke says she's "thrilled to be doing ministry with Pontoppidan in the newly revitalized downtown Fargo and surrounding areas!"

Pontoppidan Lutheran Church was founded on Dec 14, 1877 with 25 founding members. Pontoppidan Lutheran Church is a part of the Eastern North Dakota Synod and a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Pontoppidan Lutheran Church is located at 309 4th Street N, Fargo.
