How does it feel to be named the best hardware store in Fargo-Moorhead?

“It is a testament to our team’s collective focus on the experience our customers have when they are in the store,” Store Leader Richard Thurs said. “We know there are a lot of great places to shop in Fargo, and we are grateful the Red River Valley consumers think about us when they have needs for their home or lake place.”

What do you provide that people may not know about?

There are not too many places you can go to and pick up everything from paint, nuts and bolts, grills and lawn mowers to patio furniture, women's fashion clothing & footwear and men's workwear,” Thurs said.

  • Second place: Menards
  • Third place: Burggraf's Ace Hardware
  • Fourth place: Ostrom's Hardware
  • Fifth place: MAC'S Hardware

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
