The staff at M.J. Capelli Family Hair Salons have cut their way to the top of the Red River Valley's hair salons for 2019. General manager Sue Cote believes continual learning is what helps them remain a cut above the rest.
"Education is the foundation and the engine of our company," she said. "We believe in learning and practicing to become the best we can."
M.J. Capelli staff aim to give customers a great experience by helping them feel good about themselves.

"We want them to feel welcomed and good about themselves, not only on the outside, but also to have an experience that makes them feel great overall," Cote said. "The most rewarding part is building relationships with clients and getting the chance to make their day! To maintain their look and continue to feel good, they should get in a routine of services."
The key to maintaining the positive atmosphere for clients is the support system the team has created for one another, she said.
