FARGO, ND — Big deals are bringing big crowds to local movie theaters this Christmas.
Every year families flock to the movies on Christmas Day. This year, Christmas falls on a Tuesday, and Marcus Theatres offers special deals on Tuesdays, making today a double whammy for deal hunters and the Christmas crowd. Almost 4,000 people went through the Century Theater, 3931 9th Ave. S., by just 3 p.m.
"It's really rewarding; we have some wonderful guests who will even bring Christmas cards to the employees they've gotten to know over the years," said West Acres Cinema General Manager Rick Solarski.
Reward members also get free popcorn today, which also helps draw a crowd.
