BISMARCK, N.D. -- Bismarck's Kirkwood Mall has a new owner.
The 41-year-old mall has been owned by the MetLife Insurance Co. since 1987.
MetLife spokesman Chris Breslin tells the Bismarck Tribune that it was bought by Radiant Partners, a New York investor in malls, office buildings and other commercial properties.
Breslin did not provide the price of the sale. The city puts the property's market value at just under $58 million.
The mall comprises 843,886 square feet, but the 137,600-square-foot Target store is owned by that company and was not part of the transaction. It occupies a 58-acre lot.

Kirkwood Mall is the second-largest mall in North Dakota. It was built by the Wachter family, which owned and developed much of the land in south Bismarck.
