Agent taking part in 'Month of Miracles'

Re/Max Realty 1 agent Robb Johnson, Fargo, is taking part in the Children's Miracle Network Month of Miracles fundraiser by donating $250 for every house sold or listed in August.

Medical equipment company expands

A leading medical equipment rental company is expanding its Fargo office.

US Med-Equip is making its Fargo office the central hub for the company's reconditioning services for patient monitoring equipment used by hospitals.

More hospitals are refurbishing medical equipment as a way to keep costs under control, according to a release from US Med-Equip, which is inviting area biomedical technicians, materials managers and other medical professionals to an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the company's offices at 4141 38th St. S., Fargo.

In 2011 and 2012, Inc. Magazine ranked Houston-based US Med-Equip as one of the nation's fastest-growing companies.

The business specializes in the rental, sales and service of movable biomedical equipment for acute-care medical settings.

The company has 12 offices in six states.

Health insurance topic of free workshops

Eide Bailly will present a series of free, educational workshops about health insurance options for business owners.

During the workshop, participants will examine the basics of health care reform and its impact on employers, learn about options available, including health insurance plans, exchanges and hybrid plans, and learn about Eide Bailly's employer health reform analytics tool.

All seminars are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fargo Ramada Plaza and Suites, 1635 42nd St. S., with registration beginning at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided.

A seminar is scheduled for Monday, and other seminars will be on Aug. 30, Sept. 4 and Sept. 6.
