Grant will help support language programs

The Scottish Rite Language Center, Fargo, has received a $13,315 grant from Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo. The grant was generated by donations to the charity on Giving Hearts Day in February.

The funds will help support the center's efforts in treating metro-area children who have speech/communication disorders.

ND Council on Arts grant goes to Fraser

Fraser Ltd., Fargo, was awarded a $1,000 presenter support grant by the North Dakota Council on the Arts.

The grant will help Fraser Ltd. introduce and exhibit works by an artist.

Dental Access Project awarded $4,000 grant

The Red River Valley Dental Access Project has received a $4,000 grant from Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo.

The funds will support the Urgent Care Walk-In Dental Clinic that serves low-income patients.

CHS ND businesses contribute to food drive

CHS Country Operations in North Dakota has raised $126,129 for the Great Plains Food Bank, Fargo.

The funds were raised through the company's annual CHS Harvest for Hunger food and funds drive.

North Dakota locations contributing to the food bank included: CHS Drayton; CHS McVille; CHS Milton; CHS Nutrition, Edgeley; Dakota Ag Cooperative, Kindred; Dakota Prairie Ag, Edgeley; Garrison Farmers Elevator; Lake Region Grain, Devils Lake; South Central Grain, Napoleon; Southwest Grain, Taylor; SunPrairie Grain, Minot; and CHS Sunflower, Grandin.
