Polar donates services to MSU student center
Polar Communications, Park River, N.D., has donated materials and installation services for Internet and cable television at the Laurie Berry Christian Home in Mayville, N.D.
The Christian student center is being developed in the former Sanford Clinic building in Mayville adjacent to the Mayville State University campus.
The building, donated by Sanford Health, is being remodeled and when it opens in August, will provide living space for up to 10 students.
Local jamboree raises $19K for ALS chapter

The annual Julie Kottsick ALS Jamboree, held March 26 at Shanley High School in Fargo, raised $19,000 for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association, Minnesota/North Dakota Chapter.
All proceeds help serve families in Minnesota and North Dakota dealing with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
The annual jamboree is hosted by the Kottsick Krusade, which includes friends and family Julie Kottsick of Fargo who was diagnosed with the disease six years ago at the age of 36.
Globetrotter tickets donated to Nokomis
The Howard Johnson Inn, Fargo, has donated 20 tickets for the Harlem Globetrotters North American Tour stop at the Fargodome on Friday to Nokomis Childcare Centers, Fargo.
James Zinke, the hotel's sales director, presented the tickets to Nokomis Director Jane Greminger.
