Community of Care, Arthur, N.D., has received a $4,000 match grant from Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo.
The funds will help support Community of Care's mission to provide access to health, human and spiritual services for older adults in rural Cass County.
Media justice nonprofit awarded national grant
The People's Press Project, Moorhead, has been awarded a $2,000 grant from RESIST Inc., a national progressive foundation.
The funds will be used to train community members how to analyze the power of local media, gain skills in developing community-based and independent media, and for paid internships and apprenticeships.
DMF grant supports child health program
Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo, has awarded a $4,000 grant to the North Dakota Caring Foundation, Fargo.

The grant will support the foundation's Caring for Children program which provides access to primary and preventative health, dental and mental health care services for eligible children in North Dakota.
Employees, Essentia donate to United Way
Employees at Essentia Health St. Mary's, Detroit Lakes, Minn., collected more than $9,000 for the United Way of Becker County, Minn, through a payroll drive including activities and incentive programs.
Essentia Health also donated $8,000 for a total donation to United Way of more than $17,000.
