Home tours generate $11K for foundation
The Home Builders Care of Fargo-Moorhead Foundation has received more than $11,000 in donations generated by homes featured in the recent Parade of Homes.
Participants paid $5 per person to tour the featured homes, which this year included a Designer Homes of Fargo-Moorhead entry in the Shadow Wood development in West Fargo and a Thomsen Homes entry in the Tessa Terrace development in Moorhead.
Highlights of the featured home tours included a home gym, gourmet kitchen, walk-in shower, 16-foot water feature, home theater, a home automation system and more.
The foundation will use the funds for skill training, education and projects related to the housing industry.
