Edgewood Management Group has named Russell G. Kubik executive vice president and chief operations officer. Kubik will oversee operations for the group which owns, operates and manages 28 senior living communities in the Midwest.
Prior to joining Edgewood, Kubik served as the president of Regal Senior Living, a health care consulting business.
Kubik has over 21 years of experience in the senior living industry. Originally from Dickinson, N.D., he graduated from the University of North Dakota and began his career as administrator of Mandan (N.D.) Villa. He was also regional director of operations with Beverly Enterprises, overseeing 13 skilled nursing facilities in Washington and Idaho; regional director of operations for Sunrise Healthcare Corp., overseeing 10 skilled nursing facilities in the Puget Sound region; vice president of operations for Emeritus Assisted Living, including general operations, development and growth of 62 senior living communities in 15 states; and divisional vice president for Life Care Centers of America with 32 skilled nursing facilities in Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
