A Fargo-Moorhead area task force has been created to raise the educational bar for students to compete globally and become future entrepreneurs.

Tony Grindberg, executive director of the North Dakota State University Research and Technology Park, announced today the creation of the regional Youth Entrepreneurship Task Force.

The task force will consist of area educators, business leaders and entrepreneurs, many of whom have spent several months discussing how to create a stronger entrepreneurial region and community, said Grindberg.

A focus of the group will be to increase support and expand education opportunities for public and private school students to help them become future entrepreneurs, he said.

Paul Tefft, a retired West Fargo teacher, will lead the task force.
