Fargo roofing company gives back to veterans

FARGO — A Fargo roofing company is working to help veterans by offering its services for free.

Fargo Roofing & Siding was at a veteran's house on First Street North, Monday, Oct. 7, where workers re-shingled the entire roof for free.

It's the first of many projects the company hopes to do to give back to local veterans. The project took nearly six hours to complete and would normally cost around $10,000 to $12,000.

Air Force veteran Jon Lemar said the company's company's generosity has left him at a loss for words.

"It's just overwhelming, (I) really don't have the words to thank Fargo Roofing for this opportunity," Lemar said. "It's just amazing."
