The Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation has established the Dr. Pat Konewko Fund.
It is a permanently endowed designated fund with annual distributions paid to charitable organizations chosen by Konewko, a Fargo neuro-psychologist who died in 2007.
Fund distributions will include special education projects in the Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo public schools, the Fargo chapter of the Minnesota-North Dakota Alzheimer's Association and the Great Plains Food Bank.
