Forum Communications Co. has launched AreaVoices.com, an online publishing system that allows people to create their own Web logs.
Area Voices.com provides tools to help users become a publisher, creating a Web site for news and commentary on events and items of interest.
Bloggers receive a free account with tools to post text, photos and links, create navigation and post user feedback.
"We're looking for interesting topics and frequent posts," said Paul Amundson, interactive media manager. "Some of the Area Voices blogs will be featured on our company news Web sites and other media," he said.
AreaVoices.com now features blogs titled Confessions of a Stressed Out Mom, Bad Movies, and The Bison Media Blog.
