FARGO - Rob Sanford is part owner, along with several family members, including brothers Sean and Stephen, of Section 9 Cyber Café in downtown Fargo.
The name of the business is derived from Public Security Section 9, a fictional intelligence agency in the Ghost in the Shell manga, a Japanese graphic cartoon of which Sanford has long been a fan.
Q: How does your café work?
A: People can pay by the hour, the day, the week or the month to play video games and use the Internet.

For the month of September, they can play by the hour for $3 an hour.
You have a couple of large-screen game stations up front, and how many computer stations in the back room?
We have 16 PCs (personal computers) in the back with well over 300 games installed on them.
We recently got "Dead Island" and "Space Marine" for all the PCs.
We also have a 105-inch projection screen for special tournaments, things like that.
Are you the only cyber café in town?
There were a couple before us, but they're no longer operating.
How long have you been in business?

Two and a half years.
What do you offer besides gaming?
We do custom computer building, and we can pretty much repair any computer - PC and laptop.
Are you talking about gaming computers?
It's not all just gaming computers. We do office computers as well, and we're always glad to help anyone set up any particular program they need to use and show them how to use it.
Every PC you buy from us has a lifetime warranty. We build them to last. And we'll fix any sort of virus infection you get on that.
Do you have coffee?
Cyber café is somewhat misleading in that people come here thinking, "Can I get coffee?" Not exactly.
