L. Duane Geir, owner of Fargo's Finest Auto Body Shop, has been inducted into the North Dakota Auto Body Association Hall of Fame.
Geir graduated in 1962 from the auto body program at the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, then worked for Gleoge Chevrolet, Glenwood, Minn., Clint's Body Shop, Elbow Lake, Minn., and Kirkwald Body Shop, Glenwood.
From 1969 to 1977 he worked for Crawford and Co. as an adjuster and in 1977 took over ownership of Fargo's Finest Auto Body Shop.
Geir's hobbies include collecting and restoring toy trucks, pedal cars, gas pumps and collector cars. He also collects signs and other auto memorabilia.
