FARGO - Kevin Weaver, WDAY-AM 970's general manager and general sales manager since 2008, was let go earlier this week.

Mark Prather, vice president of broadcasting for Forum Communications Co., said on Thursday that Weaver is no longer with the radio station, but he declined further comment.

Weaver declined to comment on his departure.

Before being hired as the general manager, Weaver had been employed at WDAY in both radio and television from 1986 to 2003 in sales and sales management positions, according to Forum archives.

Like WDAY, The Forum is owned by Forum Communications Co.
