FARGO — Gjesdahl Law will celebrate its 30 th anniversary with a family-friendly open house and silent auction to benefit the ND Heart Gallery from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 at its offices at 1375 21 st Ave. N.

The Heart Gallery is a traveling photographic and audio exhibit created to find adoptive homes for children in foster care. Donations and silent auction proceeds will all go directly to the ND Heart Gallery to film video profiles of the foster kids and to fund a second gallery for western North Dakota. To donate online, visit Gofundme.com/F/Gjesdahllaw30.

Annie Retka, director of the North Dakota Hearty Gallery, thanked potential donors for help in connecting foster kids with "forever homes."

“The funds will be used to film, produce, and edit these videos so they are done professionally and capture each child’s uniqueness," Retka said. "They’ll advance our overall mission to raise awareness of the need for adoptive homes for these North Dakota children. The more eyes we can get to see these photos and videos the more connections and adoptions we hope to make. After all, EVERY child deserves a family!”

This event aligns with Gjesdahl Law’s mission “to provide the highest and best level of competent and compassionate legal service to family members in times of crisis, need or transition.”
