A Helen Foundation Clinic has opened in the LilyCare Building at 550 13th Ave. E., West Fargo.
The clinic provides supervised physician treatment programs using microdose cortisol therapy for inflammation from a variety of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
The treatment, developed by retired University of North Dakota professor Virgil Stenberg whose wife, Helen, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, teaches patients to take microdoses of the hormone cortisol only when the body needs it.
