Dr. Maren Hall has joined Valley Dental Center and the practice of Dr. Bruce Tofteland, 1338 Gateway Drive, Fargo.

Hall is originally from Grand Forks and is a graduate of Concordia College. She graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry, and she completed a residency in advanced education in general dentistry at Eastman Institute for Oral Health, Rochester, N.Y.

She worked as an associate dentist in Ithaca, N.Y., and most recently worked at the Northern Dental Access Center, Bemidji, Minn.

Widmer Roel hires senior staff accountant


Michelle Bredell, certified public accountant, has joined the tax department of Widmer Roel. She will work in the firm's Fargo office.

Bredell has more than 13 years of experience providing tax, accounting and consulting services. She previously worked in public accounting and in the private sector in real estate, nonprofit and the software industry.

She has a bachelor's degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Leary seeing clients at Revive Clinic in Fargo

Devin Leary is practicing massage therapy and reflexology at Revive Professional Massage Therapy Clinic, 4955 17th Ave. S., Fargo.

Leary previously worked at another spa in Fargo. She has more than two years of experience and is trained in Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, sports and hot stone massage.

Halvorson Co. hires executive assistant

Lorna Getz has joined the Halvorson Co., Fargo, as an executive assistant. She has nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.


Home Federal names regional bank president

Home Federal Bank has hired Brent Wersinger as Fargo-Moorhead regional president and to lead business development efforts for the bank.

Wersinger was previously the vice president/business banking manager at Western State Bank, West Fargo.

Home Federal Bank was founded in 1929 and operates 27 locations throughout South Dakota and Minnesota.

Amanda Gunkel joins Rehab 4 Life team

Rehab 4 Life Physical Therapy and At Home Therapy Services, Fargo, has added Amanda Gunkel to its team of therapists.

Gunkel grew up in Casselton, N.D., and graduated from Concordia College. She earned a doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of St. Catherine and has experience working in acute care, neurological and orthopedic settings.

Spherion Corp., Fargo, a recruiting, staffing and workforce solutions provider, has hired Kellie Gores and Eric Rasmusson as client service supervisors.

Gores has a bachelor's degree in management with a concentration in human resource management and a minor is Spanish from North Dakota State University. She has worked in the service industry for four years.

Rasmusson was previously the store manager at Complete Nutrition, Fargo. He has a bachelor's degree in finance from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Applied Engineering hires design engineer

Nathan Piercy has joined Applied Engineering in Fargo as a design engineer. He graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

General surgeon joins Essentia in Fargo

Dr. Oyetunde Siyanbade, a general surgeon, has joined Essentia Health's 32nd Avenue Clinic in Fargo.

Siyanbade most recently worked at Trinity Hospital, Minot, N.D. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan (Nigeria) College of Medicine and completed a residency in general surgery at St. Raphael/Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, Conn.

Ulteig hires Fakler as graduate engineer

Ulteig has hired Thomas Fakler as a transportation graduate engineer in civil services. He will work in Ulteig's Fargo office.

Fakler previously worked for the North Dakota Department of Transportation Support Center as a student design assistant. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University.

Paige E. Bjornson has been promoted to senior business banker at Dacotah Bank, Valley City, N.D.

Bjornson graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration with minors in economics, psychology and accounting.

American Federal names ag, business banker

Brian J. Olson has been named ag and business banker at American Federal Bank in the Fargo-Moorhead market. He will work at the bank's Moorhead branch at 601 Center Ave.

Olson has nine years of banking and ag lending experience in the Red River Valley. He worked as a teller in Fargo and has also held positions as personal banker, assistant store manager and ag industry specialist. Most recently he was the ag relationship manager at Wells Fargo, Hillsboro, N.D.

Olson is originally from Ada, Minn. He has an associate degree in financial and credit services administration from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead, and a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Mary, Fargo. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in business administration at the University of Mary.

Re/Max Legacy Realty adds Nefzger to team

Amber Nefzger has joined Re/Max Legacy Realty in Fargo as a licensed real estate agent in North Dakota and Minnesota.

She began working in the real estate industry in 1997 as a closing agent in the Detroit Lakes, Minn., area. She relocated to the Fargo-Moorhead area in 2000 and worked as a mortgage loan officer for more than 10 years.

Cornerstone Bank hires one, promotes three

Cornerstone Bank in Fargo has hired Nicole Nordquist as a financial analyst/internal auditor at the bank's branch on 45th Street South in Fargo. The bank has promoted Erica Melland to mortgage closer/funder, Jason Wollum to credit analyst and Kadie Stoltz to business banking associate.

Nordquist will graduate in December from South Dakota State University, Brookings, with a degree in mathematics.

Melland was hired in 2010 as an operations assistant; Wollum has been a customer service/lead teller since 2012; and Stoltz was hired in 2010 as an operations assistant.

Four new employees at Sundog in Fargo

Sundog, Fargo, has hired Beth Richels as a senior project manager, Katie Jahnig as an associate media strategist, Craig Johnson as a software engineer and Jacob Berger as an associate network manager.

Richels has 14 years of project management experience, most recently as a development project manager at Feed Management Systems. She is a graduate of Minnesota State Community and Technical College.

Jahnig graduated from Concordia College with a bachelor's degree in print journalism.

Johnson was previously a senior software engineer at Sanford Health. He graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in graphic communications and multimedia/web.

Previously, Berger was a technology intern at Sundog. He will graduate in May from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in management of information systems and a minor in computer science.

TMI names Busch sale center director

TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Kimberly Busch as director of the company's sale center.

Busch is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in management through Dickinson (N.D.) State University. She previously worked for Wells Fargo in Fargo as a customer service supervisor.

She has a background in hospitality, working as a rooms controller for JW Marriott Desert Springs, Palm Desert, Calif., as a front office team member at the Ramada Plaza and Suites in Fargo and as manager on duty of the Fargo Staybridge Suites.

Media Productions, Fargo, has hired Adgio Hutchings as director of audio services and Steve Wallevand as an audio engineer and music composer.

Hutchings has more than 20 years of experience in the TV and film industry. He previously worked for Konami as an in-house audio producer for Sony PlayStation games and was the audio director of WorldWinner/GSN Digital. He earned an associate degree in audio recording from Los Angeles Harbor Community College and a bachelor's degree in electronic music composition with a minor in broadcast journalism from California State University Dominguez Hills.

Wallevand has more than 20 years of experience performing and recording with Grammy winners, top 40 artists and multi-platinum engineers in Hollywood and Chicago. Wallevand earned a bachelor's degree in music industry and a bachelor's degree in music performance from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Ole P. Rygg has been named director of Vogel Business Solutions in Fargo, a full-service provider of leadership development, change management and business productivity services and solutions to business leaders and organizations in North Dakota, Minnesota and South Dakota.

Vogel Business Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vogel Law Firm.

Rygg's previous experience includes president of Corporate Elements, competence development manager with Rieber & Son, talent and development manager with Alerus Financial and a human resources consultant and trainer at The Village Business Institute.
