Three hired at Phoenix International in Fargo

Phoenix International A John Deere Co., Fargo, has hired Hector Martinez as a senior software design engineer, Selamsew Worku as a senior power electronics design engineer and Jim Turkington as a printed circuit board designer.

Martinez received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Morelia, Mexico.

Worku received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, and a master's degree in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan.

Turkington studied at Lake County College and has over 20 years of printed circuit board experience.

General Equipment promotes Frith, Shilling

General Equipment and Supplies, Fargo, has promoted Sara Frith to sales support manager and Jon Shilling to sales manager.

Frith earned a degree in business administration with an emphasis in international studies from North Dakota State University. She has served in sales and administrative roles since joining the company in 2002.

Shilling graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a degree in aeronautics. He joined the company in 2003 and has worked in finance and product support positions.

Three managers promoted at Goldmark

Goldmark has promoted Mindi Larson to property manager at the Lake Crest site in West Fargo, Nicole Cegla to property manager at the Eagle Run site office in Fargo and Kevin Mullin has been named regional maintenance manager for Fargo and Minneapolis.

Larson joined Goldmark in 2006 and was previously the property manager at the Eagle Run office.

Cegla started at Goldmark in 2007 as a leasing specialist and was most recently an assistant property manager at the Luxford site office in Fargo.

Mullin joined the company in 2002 as a maintenance tech and was most recently a maintenance manager in Fargo.

Vinje joins Dawson Insurance in Fargo

Melody Vinje has joined Dawson Insurance, Fargo, as an administrative assistant/receptionist.

Vinje graduated from Concordia College with a degree in political science and communications. She previously worked as a media account executive for a marketing agency in Houston.

Van Erem, Roppe hired at Otter Tail Corp.

The Otter Tail Corp. has hired Peter Van Erem as operations strategy manager and Mary Roppe as an administrative assistant for communications and the manufacturing/infrastruc-ture platform. Both will be working in the corporate office in Fargo.

Van Erem previously worked as manufacturing engineering manager for LM Glasfiber and was an instructor at Northland Community and Technical College, Thief River Falls, Minn. He has a degree in manufacturing and civil engineering.

Roppe previously worked for 12 years for Lazard Middle Market in Minneapolis.

Kuhn joins SBT Investments

John Kuhn, investment representative, has joined SBT Investments at State Bank and Trust.

Kuhn provides investment brokerage services to clients in Fargo, Fergus Falls, Minn., and Wahpeton, N.D.

Kuhn graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead and has 21 years of experience in investments, including the past seven years at American Federal Bank.

Prudential Premier Real Estate names new agent

Bryan Buhr has joined the sales team at Prudential Premier Real Estate in Fargo as an agent.

Buhr has more than a year of real estate experience and more than seven years of experience in new home and commercial construction and remodeling.

Essentia Health St. Mary's hires Swenson

Essentia Health St. Mary's in Detroit Lakes, Minn., has hired Cindy Swenson as manager of perioperative services.

Swenson previously worked at Lakewood Health System, Staples, Minn., where she was director of surgery and outpatient services.

Swenson has worked in health care and nursing for many years including direct patient care and management. She is a registered nurse and also has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management.

Six hired at Microsoft campus in Fargo

Microsoft in Fargo has hired Reshma Hegde as a software development engineer, and Erik Johnson, Sandeep Kumar Singh, Jarrod Williams, Matthew Snead and Karl Ludwinski as senior support engineers.

Hegde earned degrees in computer science from North Dakota State University.

Johnson earned a degree in business management from Rasmussen College, Fargo.

Singh earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from B.R Ambedkar University in Muzaffarpur, India.

Snead earned a bachelor's degree in information technology from the University of Mary, and an associate's degree in computer programming from Minnesota State Community and Technical College.

Ludwinski earned a degree in computer network security from MSCTC.
