Anderson hired as account manager
Sandy Anderson has been hired as an account manager for the DJ Colter American Family Insurance Agency in Fargo.
Anderson has extensive experience in the insurance industry, including 10 years as a property and casualty producer.
Five new employees at Appareo Systems
Appareo Systems, Fargo, has hired Stephanie Schmid-Palluck as a manufacturing assembler, Amy Swanson as a quality and process specialist, Magda Szeitz as a manufacturing assembler, Mitch Selzler as a material handler and Chris Stalboerger as a software engineer.

Stalboerger earned a bachelor's degree in computer and information science from Minnesota State University-Mankato. A native of Perham, Minn., he previously worked for Sanford Health.
Four hired at Cable One Business
Cable One Business, Fargo, has hired Jay Macleod as the business sales manager, Jeanna Yaggie and John Koch as business account executives and Wade Tufte as a business sales engineer.
Cable One Business is a provider of business high-speed internet, business phone and video in Fargo and the surrounding area.

American Crystal Sugar hires agriculturist
Clay Altepeter has joined American Crystal Sugar Co. as an agriculturist in the Drayton, N.D., district. Altepeter graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in crop and weed sciences.
He completed an internship with ACSC in 2014 and also worked at the North West Research and Outreach Center at the University of Minnesota, Crookston, and at Altepeter Brother Farms.

Freer is originally from Buffalo, Minn., and a graduate of North Dakota State University with a degree in public relations and advertising and a minor in business administration.

Baumgarten joined Discovery Benefits in 2014 as an account specialist. Before joining the company, he worked as a defensive assistant coach for the North Dakota State University men's lacrosse team. He studied sports management and business administration at NDSU.

Tetzlaff began working at Discovery Benefits in 2014 as an implementation manager. She was previously a lecturer at NDSU and she earned a bachelor's degree in interior design from NDSU.
Joyce joins Houston Engineering
Martin Joyce has joined Houston Engineering's Fargo office as a civil engineer. He is originally from Woodbury, Minn., and has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University.
He will be working on municipal and site design projects including stormwater management, site layout and utility design. Joyce previously worked for Interstate Engineering and the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Wieser hired as marketing, design specialist
First International Bank & Trust has hired Kristen Wieser as a marketing design specialist. Wieser will work at the branch in south Fargo.
She has six years of graphic design experience with a background in design layout, collateral design and user experience. Wieser was most recently employed at Border States Electric as a web designer.

Ahern promoted to project manager
Keegan Ahern has been promoted to project manager at Roers Construction, Fargo.
He has worked at Roers since 2007 and he recently graduated from the construction management program at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Child and Family Therapy hires LaHaise
Child and Family Therapy Associates, Fargo, has hired Kim LaHaise. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She completed an internship in clinical psychology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, and then completed postdoctoral training in health psychology in the Family Medicine Department at the Mississippi Medical Center.
She has been practicing in North Dakota for the past 15 years and has experience in assessing and treating older adolescents and adults with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, chronic pain and personality disorders.

Findlay hired as government affairs rep
Michael Findlay has joined Ducks Unlimited as a government affairs representative in the Great Plains Region office in Bismarck.
Findlay was most recently chief of staff for Americans for Prosperity in Washington, D.C., where he led its issue advocacy, accountability and governmental affairs efforts in more than 33 states.
A Colorado native, Findlay has worked on numerous political campaigns across the country and has developed integrated governmental affairs and issue advocacy strategies for some of the world's largest non-profit organizations, companies and trade associations.
Byron joins Dakota CDC as loan officer
