Todd M. Hess has been named credit manager at The Forum. He will be responsible for credit management of The Forum, West Fargo

Hess previously was the accounts receivable and credit director of Asset Marketing Services, where he managed a staff of seven collection agents. He has more than 25 years of accounting experience, including 15 years specializing in credit and collections.
Fleser hired, Larson promoted at Vanity
Vanity in Fargo has hired Kimberly Fleser as an allocator in the planning and allocation department. The company has also promoted Stefanie Larson to inventory assistant at the Vanity.com e-commerce office.
Fleser has customer service experience from Hollister Co., Follett Corp. and Allure Hair Salon and Spa. She is a graduate of North Dakota State University.
Larson has been employed with Vanity.com since 2013 and most recently was a part-time inventory assistant.
Discovery Benefits hires five, promotes two
Discovery Benefits in Fargo has hired Bridget McGuire as senior operations manager of COBRA and benefit services, Bridget Medbery as COBRA and billing solutions renewal specialists, John Dierling as integration analyst, Peter Nettleton as benefits senior account manager and Amber Andersen as COBRA and billing solutions account manager.

Klug named director of people strategy, culture
Dan Klug has joined Noridian Mutual Insurance Co., Fargo, as director of people strategy and culture.
He previously worked as the chief development officer for Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks and Thief River Falls, Minn.
Klug earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a double major in marketing and management, from Minnesota State University-Mankato. He also earned a graduate degree in theology from the Association of Free Lutheran Theological Seminary, Plymouth, Minn.
Grise hired as customer service representative

Birkholz promoted to HR manager at BCBSND
Vicki Birkholz has been promoted to human resources manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, Fargo.
She began her BCBSND career in 1997 as the executive assistant in human resources. She was promoted to compensation analyst, HR generalist, HR business partner and HR team leader.
Birkholz earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She also holds the Professional in Human Resources certification.
Jeremiah Program hires executive director
The Jeremiah Program has named Diane Solinger the organization’s first executive director in Fargo-Moorhead.
She previously worked for Minnesota State University Moorhead as assistant and associate vice president for student affairs and vice president of enrollment management. She also held positions at Minnesota State University-Mankato and the University of Denver.
Bell State Bank hires Tennyson, Mastera
Bell State Bank & Trust has hired Shawn Tennyson as a project manager director and Sarah Mastera as vice president and mortgage lending officer at its 13th Avenue South location in Fargo.
Tennyson earned an associate degree in commercial art from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He has 27 years of experience as a graphic designer. He worked for 14 years at Sundog, serving most recently as director of resources and creative.
Mastera earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master’s degree in mass communications from Murray (Ky.) State University. She previously was a mortgage loan officer at Branch Banking & Trust in Murray.
General Equipment promotes Asleson
General Equipment and Supplies, Fargo, has promoted Dave Asleson to assistant sales manager-rolling stock.
Asleson attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and has more than 20 years in the construction industry as an equipment operator and foreman.
He has been with General Equipment for more than four years, most recently as yard coordinator.
Haut selected as SBA deputy district director
Alan Haut has been selected as the deputy district director for the North Dakota district office of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
With 25 years of service to SBA, Haut has served in several roles in the district office including loan officer and economic development specialist. He has been a lender relations specialist for the SBA’s North Dakota office since 2005.
A native of Jamestown, N.D., he grew up helping in his family’s small business. He is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration.

Herrick named VP of business development

Herrick joined the company in 2010 as a blogger and was later promoted to director of web content. He works out of the company’s office in Jamestown, N.D.
Reitz named real estate program manager

Reitz was previously a land administrator at Cliffs Natural Resources where she was involved in acquiring land rights, mineral rights, negotiating easements and managing wetland mitigation projects for iron ore mines in northeastern Minnesota.
Originally from Moorhead, she has a bachelor’s degree in real estate studies from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul.

Lewis joins morning team at Life 97.9

Lewis, owner of Get Inspired, is also an inspirational speaker and mindset coach. She speaks to businesses, associations and faith-based groups and has been self-employed since 2007. Life 97.9 is a non-commercial, listener-supported station owned and operated by the University of Northwestern, St. Paul.
