CROOKSTON, Minn. — A downtown Crookston building is in the midst of a major renovation that will change the way space is used in the more than century-old structure.
The upper levels of the Fournet building have long been used as apartments, but a $1.5 million project currently underway will convert the space into offices that some local organizations plan to occupy.
“It's an exciting project and I think people from Crookston have been really supportive of everything that's been happening here,” said Jeff Evers, who is the building's third owner since it was first built in 1885.

Work on the project is expected to be complete some time in late fall or early spring 2020.
