Lia Sophia recognizes Vetter with sales award

Fashion accessory company Lia Sophia has recognized Heidi Vetter of Fargo with the company's Top Achiever award.

The award honors Vetter for outstanding achievement in sales and recruiting.

Two re-elected to ND Farm Credit Council

Bill Ongstad and Roger Weinlaeder have been re-elected to third terms as chairman and vice chairman of the North Dakota Farm Credit Council, respectively.

Ongstad, is a grain farmer near Harvey and producer of North Dakota certified wheat and pinto bean seed. He is a past president of the U.S. Durum Growers Association and is one of the 29 board members of the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District.

Weinlaeder is a grain farmer near Drayton and is president of Weinlaeder Seed Co. He also serves as a board member for Northstar Genetics which is involved in wholesale seed distribution.

Heartland Diagnostic earns accreditation

Heartland Diagnostic Services in Fargo has met all criteria for laboratory accreditation by COLA, a national health care accreditation organization.

Accreditation is given only to laboratories that apply standards of quality in day-to-day operations, demonstrate continued accuracy in the performance of proficiency testing and pass an on-site laboratory survey.

Sanford receives HERO Business Partner Award

The Healthcare Equipment Recycling Organization in Fargo has named Sanford Health as recipient of its Business Partner Award.

The award is given each year to a business that has supported HERO throughout the year.

In 2010, Sanford helped HERO move from Moorhead to Fargo and has donated medical equipment and supplies on a weekly basis. Sanford is also a sponsor of the HERO bash each year.

In 2010, Sanford donated over 24,000 pounds of medical supplies, about 60 percent of HERO's inventory, which was redistributed to global medical mission groups.

Summit Group earns President's Club status

Summit Group Software, West Fargo, has been named to the 2011 Microsoft Dynamics President's Club for the third time in the past four years.

The President's Club honors high-performing Microsoft Dynamics partners whose commitment to customers is reflected in their business success and growth.
