Inside Business: North Dakotans tops in budgeting

FARGO-North Dakota is getting a lot of attention lately from WalletHub.com, an online research tool for financial and consumer information.

The state featured prominently in a number of recent WalletHub lists, and the website's latest list ranks the Fargo metro area No. 1 in the country when it comes to metros with the best budgeters.

The list is based on things like average credit scores and the percentage of unbanked households.

Sioux Falls, S.D., was No. 2 on the list, while Rochester, Minn., and Minneapolis ranked third and fourth, respectively.

Jackson, Miss., came in last out of 150 metro areas.
