FARGO - Deep Blue Seafood is getting ready to make a splash.

The seafood seller that has been operating most Thursdays out of the parking lot of The Bowler in south Fargo is now setting up a store and cafe at 4480 23rd Ave. S., Suite B.

Owner John Mittleider said he hopes to open the store sometime in March.

"We have suppliers on all three coasts-Pacific Northwest, East Coast and Gulf Coast. We'll be bringing in fresh seafood, fish, shrimp, oysters, clams, live lobsters and frozen seafood," he said.

The store will have about six tables and the kitchen will produce dishes for take-out and eating in, including traditional fish and chips baskets, and baskets with fried alligator bites, frog legs and squid, Mittleider said.
