FARGO - Legends Sports Bar & Grill at Rose Creek is closing its doors at the end of the night Saturday, Oct. 29.
The owners of the bar and restaurant recently announced their plans to close the facility on Facebook.
The issue is also on the Wednesday, Nov. 2, agenda for the Fargo Park District’s budget and facilities committee.
Legends’ social media announcement thanked customers for their patronage.

The Facebook post said that all gift cards and free-drink coins for Legends Bar & Grill at Rose Creek will be honored at the Legends Sports Bar & Grill in Moorhead .
The closing of the Rose Creek Legends precedes the closure of Rose Creek Public Golf Course for the season at the end of play Sunday, Oct. 30.
Carolyn Boutain, the Park District’s enterprise director, said in a brief memo to the Budget and Facilities Committee that a search for a new tenant will be started.

“The tenant will be turning in their keys on October 30. They will not be renewing their lease which ends December 31, 2022,” Boutain wrote.
“Staff will begin to search for a new tenant for the golf course,” Boutain wrote. “The staff will update the board on the research and plans for finding the next food and beverage provider.”
In March 2021, the Park District announced that Moorhead residents and restaurateurs Marissa West and Cody Parr were taking over operation of the bar and restaurant from Kelly Visto . Visto had operated his Big Erv’s at Rose Creek bar and restaurant at the site since 2019.
West and Parr also own Legends Bar & Grill in south Moorhead, which they founded in 2018.
It was in February 2018, that the Park District approved the $1.3 million purchase of the Seasons at Rose Creek , a privately owned restaurant and wedding venue at 1500 Rose Creek Parkway E.
Seasons opened in the early 1990s and had been closed for about two years at the time of the sale.
