The northwestern Minnesota and eastern North Dakota regional financial office of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has recognized the Eastern Cass County Chapter as a Chapter of Excellence for its contributions to the community in 2010.
The award honors the chapter for its outstanding work to grow the number of Thrivent benefit members and increase member satisfaction, and for holding educational and social activities and reaching certain volunteer and fundraising goals.
The chapter was awarded $500 to support a local food pantry of its choice and the chapter selected the Great Plains Food Bank as recipient.
