Luther Kennel owner recognized by AKC

Joette Luther, owner of Luther Kennel, Casselton, N.D., has been recognized as a top breeder by the American Kennel Club and was also named a breeder of merit.

Joette Luther, owner of Luther Kennel, Casselton, N.D., has been recognized as a top breeder by the American Kennel Club and was also named a breeder of merit.

She is a purebred breeder of sporting pets including Labradors, English Setters and Brittany's.

To qualify for the merit recognition, a breeder must be involved with AKC events for five years, earn a minimum of four event titles on the dogs bred, certify health screens on all breeding stock and demonstrate a commitment to ensuring 100 percent of the puppies produced are AKC registered.
