FERGUS FALLS, Minn. — The inventor of one of the region's most prominent pieces of equipment has died.
Cyril Keller originally invented a three-wheeled machine in the 1950s with his brother Louis who scooped turkey manure.
They called it "The Keller Self-propelled Loader" and the Bobcat Company bought its manufacturing rights.
Cyril died on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls at 98 years old.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 3, with a burial on Nov. 4.
