Moorhead JL Beers to close Sunday, Nov. 20

According to a Facebook post, the closure is due to the ongoing labor shortage in the area.

MOORHEAD — JL Beers is closing its Moorhead location at 2902 Highway 10 East due to the area's ongoing labor shortage.

The announcement was made to the bar and restaurant's social media accounts Thursday afternoon, Nov. 17.

"To all our friends that we’ve made over the past 11 years in Moorhead –
We greatly appreciate you and the support you’ve shown to us at our Highway 10 location, it’s truly been a joy to serve you!
Countless memories have been made and many milestones were celebrated together during this time. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing labor shortages in our area, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Moorhead location," read the post.

The restaurant's final day of business will be from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20.

The eatery, known for its hand-pattied burgers and wide selection of craft, import and domestic beers, was temporarily closed from July 2021 to April 2022 due to a staffing shortage as well.

The post concludes by reminding customers of their remaining locations at 518 1st Ave. N. and 4240 32nd Ave. S. in Fargo and 810 13th Ave. E. in West Fargo.
