The Small Business Administration's North Dakota Small Business Development Center has received a $325,000 grant as part of the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010.
The grant will allow the NDSBDC to partner with the North Dakota Trade Office, linking networks to target businesses interested in exporting.
The partnership will enable the hiring of a contractor with international expertise for trade clients and to address the surge in population and business technical assistance requests in the areas of North Dakota that are seeing growth in energy production activity.
NDSBDC consultants have been added in Williston and Bismarck and part-time satellite centers will be established in Sheridan, McLean, Divide, Bottineau, Golden Valley and Bowman counties.
