Fargo - Like a mouth with too many teeth, things are crowded at Cornerstone Dental’s South University Drive office.
That’s the main reason the business is building a new facility in southwest Fargo. Cornerstone Dental’s new office is going up at 3030 49th St. S.
“We’re trying to get out where the growth is happening, and hoping to attract younger families,” said Dr. Stacy Goodwill, owner/dentist. “We’re excited about just having more rooms and brand new, state-of-the-art equipment.”
Cornerstone Dental now has a staff of 14, including Drs. Goodwill and Lindsay Rogers. The University Drive site originally had just five employees working there, said Dan Raymond, vice president of Cornerstone Dental Group LLC.
The new 5,900-square-foot building will have 10 treatment rooms and space for up to 17 employees, he said.
Ground was broken in October for the project. The building is expected to be completed this summer, with a projected operations date of July 1.
Raymond said they wanted to locate the office near schools, to be more convenient for parents.
The current office location may continue improving smiles after Cornerstone Dental moves out. “We’re hoping we can sell the equipment and everything to another dentist moving into the space,” Raymond said.
