The North Dakota Lamb and Wool Producers Association will be holding the second annual Lamb Cookoff in conjunction with its annual convention and meeting Nov. 20 at the Doublewood Inn in Bismarck.
Judging takes place beginning at 7 p.m. The coveted "People's Choice" award will be judged immediately following the cook-off judging.
The North Dakota Lamb and Wool Producers Association encourages entries from anyone who likes to cook, not just from lamb producers. All cooks are welcome, and the NDLWPA is hoping to get entries from non-lamb producers as well as lamb producers who will be attending the convention.
Lamb entries to the contest will be in one of three categories: easy and economical, fancy and fabulous, or youth. Prizes will be awarded for the top two places in each division.
