Hospice employees complete certifications
Hospice of the Red River Valley staff members Katie Gross, registered nurse, Elizabeth Poppenhagen, licensed practical nurse, Margaret Winters, certified nursing assistant, have completed the national hospice certification exam.
The certification provides formal recognition of hospice and palliative nursing or administration knowledge.
Ashmore certified in pain management
Beth Ashmore, senior director of ambulatory services at Essentia Health, Fargo, has completed board certification in pain management by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She is also certified as an adult clinical nurse specialist, emergency nurse and adult sexual assault nurse examiner.
TNT staff attends national conference
Nate Hendrickson and KamiJo Rath of TNT Kid's Fitness, Fargo, attended the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance national conference held recently in San Diego.
The conference promotes and supports leadership, research, education and best practices in the professions that support creative, healthy and active lifestyles.
Hendrickson is the kid's fitness and special needs director at TNT and Rath is kid's fitness manager.
Ferrie earns merger, acquisition designation
Amber Ferrie, business valuation manager at Eide Bailly, Fargo, has completed the certification process with the Middle Market Investment Banking Association and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts to earn the chartered merger and acquisition professional designation.
Ferrie has more than five years of experience performing business valuations and other consulting services for estate and gift taxes, transaction due diligence and litigation purposes.

She is a certified public accountant and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
