MOORHEAD-A leading real estate company in the community recently celebrated a grand opening after relocating its Moorhead office.
RE/MAX Realty 1's grand opening on Thursday, March 23, included a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location, 935 37th Ave. S., in the Azool Retail Center.
Broker Lyn Dwyer said the move gives the company more room in its office to expand the services and capabilities it can offer to clients. It also means RE/MAX now has more room for additional agents in a burgeoning part of town.
"The idea was to get in a more visible part of growing south Moorhead," she said. "We're right in the heart of all the activity in Moorhead, and that's where we wanted to be."
The grand opening marks a change after about 20 years of RE/MAX Realty 1 operating a Moorhead office at 10 4th St. N., Dwyer said. That office is now closed.

The company's Fargo office, 1131 Westrac Drive, will remain open, Dwyer said.
