What distinguishes Mezzaluna? What is its fine-dining "X-factor"?
"I think it's fair to say that Mezzaluna's claim to fame is its service," said Eric Watson, executive chef and co-owner of Mezzaluna. "Every chef wishes it could be the food that drives success but anyone who's being honest with themselves will admit that an elevated level of hospitality is ultimately what drives a restaurant like Mezzaluna."
What is something people might not know about Mezzaluna?
"Our prices are very in line with any other restaurant out there. We are unfairly categorized as a 'special occasion' establishment. We offer a happy hour that rivals others not only in price but especially quality," said Watson.
It's date night at Mezzaluna, and the couple wants a swell dining experience. Which menu items would you recommend?
"I'd go with the scallops as the first course and the Rack of Lamb as an entrée. Honestly though, there are so many items on the menu that will provide a memorable dining experience," said Watson.
