FARGO - A once busy Village Inn restaurant has closed.
A sign on the door of the business, 4900 13th Ave. S., informed customers last week about the closing. The restaurant is along a stretch of 13th Avenue that has been under construction for more than a year.
Village Inn is owned by American Blue Ribbon Holdings, which is a subsidiary of Fidelity National Financial. According to Fidelity National's annual report, the company has lost money during the past two years. News reports from across the country show Village Inn restaurants in several cities have closed this year.
Village Inn has two other restaurant locations in the region, one at 3140 25th St. S. and another at 940 Holiday Drive, Moorhead.
